Meath/Dublin band Run the Red have been added to the 2FM rising ones to watch 2026 list alongside acts like Florence Road and Aaron Rowe. Martin has recorded and mixed all of the Run the Red releases to date and it should be a great year for the band!

One Flew Over continue with their 7th single Eyes Open. The track is a genre-blending anthem that fuses indie-rock, Baroque pop, and soul. Powered by Irene Ní Chuinn’s commanding vocal, the track channels the sonic memory of Florence + The Machine and Annie Lennox, with echoes of Radiohead and the raw spirit of Hozier. This project was supported by Meath County Council Arts Office and Creative Ireland through the Professional Artist Development Fund.

Kildare Songwriter Col Patterson releases second solo Album ‘Seed’ July 12, 2024 Seed is the second solo Album from Kildare based singer-songwriter, Col Patterson. It features 11 songs and was recorded at Jam Studios, Co Meath, with Col’s longtime collaborator, Martin Quinn.
